1861-1934Helen had an impressive political career for a woman in the 1800's. She was also a great missions motivator, traveling across the country to raise money and encourage women to serve on the mission field. She was faithful to fight for the increase in access to education and healthcare for women and children. In 1921 she was elected President of the Northern Baptist Convention.
