jul 16, 1961 - Modulation - Chorus, Flanger and Phaser using Tape Machines
Description:
The first known use of the Flanger effect was in the 1960s. The effect is created by merging two identical signals and moving one slowly backwards and forwards out of time by gently obstructing the ‘flange’ of one of the tape machines reels. Chorus can be created by subtly changing the speed of the machine whilst a signal is still passing through the tape machine.
