Deborah was the 4th judge of Israel, and the only women to hold that role (Judges 4-5). Deborah was a prophetess and wife of Lappidoth.

Though Deborah did not lead Israel into battle, that does not lessen her role as leader and judge in Israel. The Lord used her wisdom to guide Israel for 40 years.
