Description:
Rump Parliament is the Parliament instated by Thomas Fairfax following a Coup. Fairfax removed old members of parliament who were not in favor of trying Charles I and having him removed from office. This new parliment was titled "Rump Parliament" meaning here, Remnant, refrencing those who remained after Fairfax's purge.
