jan 10, 1920 - League of Nations
Description:
The League of Nations was an organization that was used for peaceful cooperation around the world. This was established on January 10, 1920, when the Allied Powers ended World War 1. Then the League of Nations broke apart on April 19, 1946. Sadly, The League of Nations didn't work out as they didn't fulfill the purpose of this organization it was made for. This was of huge importance when it came to the history of international relations. The League of Nations was located in Geneva, which can be found in Switzerland. When The League of Nations was created, Germany wasn't a part of this organization, but in 1926 they were allowed to join the League of Nations. However, in 1933, Hitler decided to leave the League of Nations. Due to the failure of the organization to attain the signing of the Treaty of Versailles by the United States, it was discredited and weakened the League of Nations. The League ceased activities during WWII and was eventually replaced by the United Nations in 1946.
