Description:
-Contained the sensory-motor nerve law (Bell-Magendie Law)
-"...an impression made on two different nerves, though with the same instrument, will produce two distinct sensations."
-Touching one of the papillae on the tongue with a steel pin creates the sensation of 'sharpness', but touching another creates the sensation of 'metallic'
-Two different types of stimulation on the same nerve create the same kind of sensory experience
