2h 2min, jun 23, 1914 y - The Schlieffen Plan
Description:
Germany's Schlieffen Plan to attack France through Belgium and Luxembourg, and then to attack Russia was flawed for a number of reasons.
1. It meant war with Belgium, Britain, Luxembourg, and potentially others
2. The train lines used to move troops were totally inflexible. It would take them six months to coordinate one change
3. It did not cater for Russia attacking first
