At some point during this trip to France it seems that Amber Heard screened a version of London Fields with Johnny Depp. The reference to James Franco is confusing as her final film with him had launched at Tribeca in April 2015 so unless she was showcasing her latest and upcoming releases to Johnny Depp the mention of Franco is in error.

The London Fields court documents do not specify when Amber Heard received a copy of the Producers Cut, although it was around this time, therefore THE JDC speculates that the version she screened at this time could have been the Directors Cut. However, it would also make sense for Amber Heard to have seen the Producers Cut prior to Johnny Depp instructing his lawyers to threaten legal action to suppress that version as mentioned in the email of 29 August 2015.

THE JDC has placed the screening on this date due to the texts exchanged between Amber Heard and Dr Cowan, her contact with her talent agent Jessica Kovecvic, Josh Drew’s mention of an argument whilst they were in France and Amber Heard’s own testimony that she screened at least one film whilst they were in France.
