Published by Alexandre-Emile Béguyer de Chancourtois (1820-1886), the 'vis tellurique' consistuted as the earliest form of the modern periodic table.
It plotted atomic weight on a cylinder and revealed that similar periodic atomic weights appear in a similar formation. NOTE: He did not know of the chemical trends yet.
