sep 20, 1956 - Howl by Allen Ginsberg first read

Description:

The Beat Generation was a group of writers and artists who rejected the American Society. They would write songs and other stories which stuck out to teens. An important poem became Howl, which talked about the evils of modern societies and what that society does to those who try and live decent lives. Teens were engaged in things like this and used them to rebel against society.
