mar 25, 1919 - Fontainebleau Memorandum
Description:
Lloyd George was concerned a harsh peace settlement would result in a hostile Germany, showing the division of the Big Three.
What resulted was the Rhineland being occupied by the Allies for 15 years, pleasing Clemenceau.
Germans proposed a rebuttal, arguing that the Treaty was unfair, however, this was ignored.
