Voyager 2 had a pretty big impact of Neptune's discoveries since it is the first human-made object to fly by Neptune.six new moons named: Proteus, Larissa, Despina, Galatea, Thalassa, and Naiad and four rings as well as a "Great dark spot". the spaceship photographed two-thirds of the planets biggest moon Triton,which revealed the coldest *known*planetary body in the solar system and a nitrogen ice "volcano" on the surface.(Time zone: UT)
