Marsha P. Johnson was found floating in the Hudson river. The police described her death as a suicide but the communities was mad with the police because it was impossible for her to commit suicide. The communitie, her friends and acquaintences suspected she was victim of an attack because during that time trans people, especially women of colour, were the victims of hates crime. At her funeral so much people showed up that the church was full so people were watching in the streets. In 2012 the case was re-open but no other details has been found so sadly its still an unsolved case to this day.
