On May 11, 2015, Heard's attorney wrote another cease-and-desist letter to Nicola Six alleging that the Movie, which contained "unauthorized nude and simulated sex scenes, was being shown at the Cannes Film Festival. Nicola Six responded by stating that the only version of the Movie submitted to Cannes was the Director's Cut, which she had previously stated she approved; and that the Director's Cut was rejected by Cannes.
