The 29 Articles are a series of regulations meant for followers of the Church of England, which were chiefly crafted by King Henry the VIII during his reign following his separation from the Catholic Church as well as Thomas Cranmer. In 1628 (exact date unknown) King Charles the first declared an official literal interpretation of the Articles, having all rules become law in England.
