dec 6, 1648 - Pride's Purge
Description:
colonel thomas pride purged parliament of any members seen to be favourable to negotiation with the king
cromwell arrived in the evening of the same day, and some think that he may have known about it or even planned it.
the pride's purge was a reaction to parliament's vote to continue negotiation, therefore it was not necessarily planned out by the army
