Description:

At first, Chinese immigrants had distinctively increased because of the California Gold Rush. After the gold rush, Chinese began to settle in cities mainly in SanFrancisco. They took low wages labor job, this caused the wage levels depressed. This Act prohibited all immigration of Chinese people.

Chinese people were discriminated and tortured, closed on an island off of the lands of United States.
