may 28, 1830 - Indian Removal Act
Description:
This Act was signed into action by President Andrew Jackson. This Act forces Indians to move to the lands beside the Mississippi in change for their current lands. Many tribes moved peacefully, but some were unhappy about the relocation.
This is an example of US government's discrimination. They relocate any people they want just for their own benefits and desire and does not consider other's feelings. This Act caused a lot of fighting and sacrificing of the Indians.
