jan 1, 1803 - Marbury v Madison — Judicial Review

Description:

Since John Adams lost his election to Jefferson, he appointed all the people he wanted in the Senate, afraid of the loss of power of his party. But however the appointing letters weren't delivered on time, and Jefferson declared those appointments as invalid. This caused a chaos: Madbury and Madison case.

Through this case, people care more about the judicial review, that the Senate and the president cannot make laws contradicting with the Constitution.
