Description:

The drafting of the Constitution started on 1787 May 25 and until September 17. The Ratification started that day until 1790 after the last state, Rhode Island, ratified the constitution.

The significance of the Constitution is that this set of laws will be the basis of every law formed after. Everyone will have to obey the constitution. Also this constitution set up the path for other constitutions later on in history.
