Amber Heard claimed
"unauthorized" nude &
simulated sex scenes
Description:
On November 20, 2014 Amber Heard's attorney Karl Austen wrote to Nicola Six [London Fields Producers] claiming that the Producer's Cut that was allegedly submitted to Sundance contained unauthorized nude and simulated sex scenes.
However Amber Heard had agreed a contract that included allowances for nudity on 24 July 2013 and payments were then made to Ms Heard accordingly. In September 2013, Nicola Six sent a Nudity Rider, along with the Certificate Of Engagement and Actor Agreement, for her to sign. The Nudity Rider provided that Heard "shall have the right to view the nude and sex scenes and approve such scenes which contain straight-on nipple or below-the-waist frontal nudity once the final cut of the Picture has been completed and prior to any public viewing of the Picture." Heard failed to sign the Nudity Rider. However, she did sign the COE as well as the Actor Agreement, which acknowledges that any nudity and simulated sex scenes "shall be solely as set forth in the Nudity Rider attached hereto and made a part hereof ...." Thus, the suggestion that she had not agreed to the use of nudity in the picture was false.
