Description:

finally, in 1646 Charles give himself up to the Scottish Charles purposely did this as he knew that the Scottish and parliament would get into an argument about how would have custody of King Charles and Charles planned that they would have a fight and that Charles could use the Scottish army to beat the parliament NMA which all di happen but in summary, the Scottish were not match towards the new NMA and their forces.
so when Charles was given back to parliament it was split into 3 who all wanted different things from Charles's arrest
the war party wanted to kill all the royalists part from Charles himself as he is still the king
the peace party wanted to silence Charles but make him still keep his position
the independent party wanted to band all royalist from being in parliament and anyway else high in the class so that they could spread the population of king Charles
