Description:

ARC: Lincoln argued agaonst the spread of slavery to the west, but Douglass argued that each state shold be able to use popular sovereignty to decide the legality of slavery.
MIG: Popular sovereignty would cause a lot of people to move out of states that they disagree with and into states that voted for the same things they believe in. People would also move around a lot to skew the vote in other states.
