Angel Island was originally built in 1910, starting as the oringinal processing center for immagrants. After Ellis Iland was built it would process chinese and Asians. Whilie it was processing so many people, it often took a lot mor etime than Ellis Island and was harder to be accepted into.Added to timeline:
