Description:

• The Sherman Anti-trust Act was congresses response to the demands from the people to have them control monopolies. The act made it illegal for businesses to form and create trust/ monopolies. Even though the act was put in place in 1890, it wasn’t put in place and effective until Teddy Roosevelt was put into office.
