Description:
After the seven years' war the economy was bankrupt. The monarchy tried to raise taxes and changed laws. The french populace was divided into three estates. And the third estate finally had a voice in the government after the king called the estates general. The third estate wanted more power because they had more people and the king didn't like that. The third estate started fighting back and this eventually led to the abolishment of the nobility and church and established a representative democracy.
