20 h, oct 21, 2022 y - Femmvrapo Summit
Description:
The only allied nation that was able to commit to a meeting was the Ellis-rom Republic. While it was a shame that no other nation could send a delegation, it was thought that out of everyone who could have decided to show up alone, they were inadvertently the most suitable to have come, but why was this? Because of the Tassatlum Missile Attack, as well as the September Coup d’Etat, the Ellis-rom government knew more than anybody else alongside the Empire what it was like to be in a state like this. While the anti-government protests had not seemed to have regained momentum for the day, things were undoubtedly not good. Ellis-rom and the Empire could once again bond over their mutual situations as they did back in the summer, and perhaps help each other to elevate back into their full and uninterrupted potential, so that is exactly what they set out to do.
Closeby to the Ellis-rom capital, Tassatlum, was the smaller city of Femmvrapo which, due to its close proximity to the former, took in the largest amount of civilians fleeting the recent missile attack, as well as being able to utilize its hospitals to treat those who were injured. Femmvrapo was spared from the barrage of Cometian missiles and was therefore completely intact. An Imperial delegation arrived in the city that night, October 21st, still to a chaotic scene of emergency vehicles on their way to and from Tassatlum, but while still displaying the same familiar sense of the well-known Ellis-rom welcome. Because summits would usually take place in Tassatlum while Femmvrapo was an economic and flashy tourist hotspot, the city already made for quite the makeshift destination, furthermore, the main international congregational building was being used to shelter civilians affected by the missile attack on the capital. Therefore, the decision was made to hold the summit outdoors in the city’s Grand Fountain Square. It was a purer form of coming together, one could say, as diplomats were not confined to anything both physically and literally. It was a much-needed one-on-one conversation between the Empire and those who felt its pain. That evening, Grand Fountain Square became the source of a small spark of joy which gleamed throughout the Empire from abroad. Said spark let the nation know that through their respective tough times, both they and Ellis-rom would be there for each other side by side, like brothers.
