jan 5, 1857 - In 1857, when Sultan Abdullah died, the new Sultan, Sultan Jaafar, removed the eldest son (of the previous Sultan), Raja Yusof (Raja Di-hilir) from the succession order and replaced him with his own eldest son, Raja Abdullah.
