mar 27, 1672 - Third Dutch War
Description:
27 march 1672 - 19 Feb 1674
the rise from this war was because of the ties with France as France wanted the break down the United Provinces of the Netherlands and this would cause England to form an alliance towards France to start another dutch war.
the 3rd dutch war was most a naval war between the conflicted countries involved England was stuck into the war Charles was getting funding from France for help with the aim and support of the war and all this money went to Charles not subsidised by the English parliament and this almost blinded Charles as his new underlining goal was to become financially independent from the English parliament this result into lack of refunding to the English navy as Charles kept it all to himself which result to a turn in 1673 as it was shown to be not an easy win for the Franco navy
the war ended in early 1674 for many reasons but the main English reason was Buckingham's removal from the cabal this had a big cause and effect as Buckingham was forced to be removed because of the test act of 1673 and this meant that the removal of funding support for the war would no longer be stopped
which forced Charles to back down from the Dutch war in 1674
