The second Dutch war cause as a problem to Charles a it was a problems towards his finances as Charles was given 1.2 million per year for royal finance almost double then his father Charles I but this was still not enough and Charles had to fund a lot of the second Dutch war himself making it less spending money for Charles II personal spending the 2nd dutch war would causing an added pressure toward his funding
But Clarendon Charles II trusted adviser was able to push to royal Money to add £400,000 on top per year even with the pressure of the Dutch war but Clarendon and Charles relationship didnt mix every well at all.
But even though it was a burden and almost a boring chore toward Charles England did win the 2 nd Dutch war
Again this war was fought of the origin of sea land and access to trade routes as it was England that declared war over the Dutch in 1665 and this was mainly cause by the salty behaviour the Dutch were displaying from there defeat for the 1st Anglo-Dutch war
