sep 1, 1633 - St.Gregory's case

Description:

the puritan take over
as puritan was getting popular they wanted to make changes to churches around England by getting rid of family pews, moving the communion table getting rid of the rich decorated cloth coving the table and the gold rail separating the table.
the puritan wanted to do this as the rich objects within these churches reminded them too much of catholicism and as they believed that god should be assessable to everyone they wanted to get rid of the rich object
but the Gregory church in London challenged this idea and this and it was the first to do so but they lost in the end.
