aug 1, 1766 - Declaratory Act enacted

Description:

The Declaratory Act was enacted after the Stamp Act was repealed. The law said that the colonists had to follow the laws made by Parliament "in all cases whatsoever". This act gave the colonists a sense of powerlessness, where they're losing their freedom.
