Description:

The 13th Amendment states that any and all slavery is to be prohibited in any State in the United States of America. This is a huge step toward Reconstruction, as every state that was in the Confederacy had to sign this Amendment into Law, and HAD to abide by it. This made the South furious as this was considered a loss for them, but as for the North, it was seen as a victory and an end to a War with so much bloodshed.
