may 10, 1773 - Tea Act Enacted

Description:

Parliament passed the Tea Act in hope to regain paid tax from the colonies. This act made tea cheaper and started delivering the tea directly to the colonies instead of stopping in England for inspection. England would also hire men who were agents to specifically sell the tea.
