Description:

Truman created the Loyalty Review Board after Republicans claimed that he was too soft on communism. The program was intended to find Communists. This gave legal jurisdiction to investigate federal workers. As a result of the investigation, slightly over 100 workers were out of a job. The investigations would also reveal that some were homosexuals.
