jan 1, 1730 - Rotherham Swing Plough
Description:
A man named Joseph Foljambe in Rotherham England used new shapes based on the Rotherham plough, which covered the mould board with iron. This new design was lighter and could go through different types of dirt without issues. This type of plough would become more popular and is thought to have been the first commercially built plough.
