Description:
About 116, including some Sons of Liberty dressed as Mohawks, boarded British ships docked in Boston and destroyed a million dollars worth of tea by throwing it into the harbor. This event is known as the Boston Tea Party, was to protest against the Tea Act that still protected the British East India Company. It also became one of the most important and symbolic events leading to the American Revolution.
