This performance at the Capitol Theatre included:

SUMMIT by David Parsons
PROXIMIDAD by Isabel Bustos
CAMINOS by Isabel Bustos
CASTOR AND POLLUX by Elizabeth Waters
TURF by Shapiro and Smith (a premiere)

Shapiro and Smith received the first in a series of commissions inspired by the millenium and the coming 2002 "games." TURF included music by Scott Killian and paid tribute to the Olympic spirit, the "heroic" effort, and the "challenge" of the competition.
