nov 20, 1965 - The Serpenta Coup
Description:
After the fall of Tasak in Oipienta, the new democratic government of Oipienta sought to regain the lands lost after the 5th Hells War. Oipienta wanted to readmit Serpenta, so the Oipientian government orchestrated a quick but affective military coup in the theocratic island nation of Serpenta to establish a democratic, pro-Oipienta government led by the popular Serpentan democratic leader Lesik Thaishvamen. The coup went well and as soon as Lesik came to power, he submitted a request to join Oipienta. The request was quickly reviewed and approved on November 15, 1965 and the island nation was admitted into the Oipientian Republic on November 25.
