jun 2, 1924 - Indian Citizenship Act The Indian Citizen ship act was passed into law in 1924. This act gave Native Americans the right of citizenship. Ironically only the one's born in the US were granted citizenship as if they weren't here first. This meant they could now vote. However, the state could still deny them voting rights.
