Amber Heard doesn't regret admitting she is bisexual.
The 'Paranoia' star, who is dating Johnny Depp, decided to come out about her sexuality in 2010 because she has never been ashamed of who she really is.
Heard 27, told the September issue of Elle magazine: "I didn't want to look like I was hiding anything. I'm not, and wasn't ever, ashamed."
The actress also admitted that she gravitates towards an unconventional lifestyle and deliberately tries to seek out unexpected acting roles.
She said: "I don't imagine myself, my work, or my life, fitting into any kind of standardised path. In fact, the idea of there even being a standard freaks me out a lot.
"People want to put me in a wedding dress and make me the object of affection, but I'd much rather shoot the gun and save the world.
"I've always fought against what was expected of me as much as I could."
Amber, who has been dating the 'Lone Ranger' star, 50 since his split from Vanessa Paradis after 14 years together in June 2012, previously insisted she has more to offer than just a pretty face and a stunning figure.
She said: "I have something more to offer than the superficial stuff. When my agents go through the initial filtering process, I've asked them to always put scripts that don't have the first descriptor of the character as beautiful, sexy, or hot at the top of the pile."
