It was a meeting with 12 out of the 13 colonies and they came together to decide how to deal with the British. They were responding to the tax acts and millitary action. This was significant because before everyone had rejected the Albany Plan because they didn't want to come together or work together but now they are beginning to work together. It was the start of them having better relationships and bring them together more.
