jan 1, 1920 - 19th Amendment, 1920

Description:

Before the 19th Amendment, women couldn't vote and they also were 2nd-class citizens. To fight for the right to vote Suffragists protests, advocated and demonstrated. In 1920, The 19th Amendment had been passed which finally gave Women the right to have full political rights in the USA. This is probably when voting and citizenship are getting closer to being grouped in the same category. Citizenship is getting more inclusive.
