After the Simèsèntana colony declared independence from Javicia, the governor and colonial council of Fapenta wrote their own declaration of independence from the empire. The free-minded colonists of Fapenta, even more liberal than their southern neighbors, burned down the houses of imperial supporters. The majority of the fighting in Soleia from the Great Civil War happened within the Fapenta Colony, with the Battle of Thafa Lake being the largest military confrontation in Soleia between the Javician military and the Fapentan rebels during the war.
