Another dude with the first name starting with a J did something else. In 1803 John Dalton did some wizard stuff and discovered that Oxygen mixed with one or two volumes of nitric acids, with this experiment he deduced that air must consist of tiny particles that remain in a constant motion. These discoveries led to a discovery on the concept of the Atom.
