Description:

After removing the remaining French soldiers Dessalines renamed Saint-Domingue, Haiti, when declaring Haiti's independence from France. Dessalines then assumed power and became the new dictator of Haiti. As dictator, Dessalines first order was to kill all the white people in the land.
