Description:

1. Missouri’s will to become a slave state disrupts the situation of the America, where 22 states separated evenly between free state and slave state. The Missouri Compromise allowed Maine (formerly part of Massachusetts) joined as a free state while Missouri joined as a slave state, also Congress also established a border (latitude 36°30’), which all states north of that line must be free states.
