dec 28, 1764 - The Quartering Act
Description:
It was an act from the British Parliament that entitled the british soldiers to rest in any house in the colonies. It increased the tension between the colonists and the British because it allowed British soldiers to take control and spend an unlimited amount of time in a colonists house. This angered many colonists because they did not like their house being used like this and they did not like the redcoats.
