The Massachusetts Colony was a theocracy which meant their laws were made and based off of religion. Anne Hutchinson was a women who preached her own beliefs which wasn't allowed in the Massachusetts Colony. She was later sent to court because what she did was forbidden. The Ministers in court didn't again with Hutchinson actions, so she was ban from Massachusetts.
