Description:
-On the 12th, Lt. Tarleton learned the of the movement of a group of rebels
-Once they caught up with the rebels, they sent a message asking for surrender. The patriots refused. This took place in the area of Waxhaws
-The patriot commander demanded his troop not to shoot until the British were ten feet away
-It was a massacre, killing 103 of the Americans, and only 5 British
